We need to generate some private keys that are unique to you that will help keep your information secure.

Doing it on your computer is more secure, but it could take a few minutes, depending on the speed of your computer. If you want something right away, we have already generated some keys that we can send to you from our server, which is a little less secure but they are already calculated.

Your private key will be further encrypted using a secret passphrase that only you know. UNSENE will never store your private key except in its encrypted form, so nobody other than you can unlock it.

Because the calculations used to generate a new keypair are so complex, it may take up to several minutes to finish. Click the "Generate" button below to get started.

Create Your Passphrase

What's a passphrase? Your passphrase is your second, stronger password, but it can be longer and include other things like spaces and special characters. It's used as the key to encrypt all your messages so only you and the recipient can read them.

Your passphrase can be almost anything, a combination of words, numbers, symbols, spaces, etc. Be sure to write it down on paper because if you lose it, you won't be able to recover your old messages.

ONLY YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR PASSPHRASE IS. WE DON'T KEEP A COPY OF IT OR EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS. IF YOU DON"T ALREADY KNOW IT, YOU SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN SOMEWHERE SAFE.
